We know how empowering it is to enable others - to start their own creative projects and tell their own stories. That’s why we’ve decided to share our customers’ stories* to highlight their aspirations and challenges and share that wonderful sense of accomplishment you get from learning something new. At Stitch & Story we want to share our love of crafting – encouraging others to tell their own stories and create remarkable memories.

Katie discovered Stitch & Story at The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show in March and is already on to a third knitting kit. It really is that simple to learn to knit!
I started knitting very recently and it was all thanks to Stitch & Story. After learning to sew about 5 years ago, my boyfriend bought me tickets to The Knitting & Stitching Show last Christmas. At the show in March I found myself circling back to the Stitch & Story stand three times - I fell in love with the kits, colours and packaging - before braving it and asking what was best for a beginner. I was recommended the Lola Pom Slippers.
The kit was great with everything included. The Stitch & Story team at the show also told me about the online tutorials (after I explained I hadn't knitted before) which were so helpful and easy to follow. As soon as I had finished admiring my new slippers I was on www.stitchandstory.com ordering another two kits - the Easy Slumber Socks and the Hadley Jumper. I'm halfway through the socks and love the vibrant coral I've chosen.
I'm already finding that knitting is my go to creative and relaxation outlet. I also love that Stitch & Story bring a modern edge to knitting in comparison to some of the items my mother used to make for me when I was younger - the photos still haunt me!
