You will need:
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Deep Orange)
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- Toy stuffing
- A sewing needle
Abbreviations (US terminology)
ch - chain
dec - single crochet two together, also known as a decrease stitch
inc - single crochet twice in the next stitch, also known as an increase stitch
sc - single crochet (UK term: dc - double crochet)
rem - remain(ing)
rnd(s) - round(s)
ss - slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(es)

The Pattern:
This bell is worked in separate parts and sewn together.
Start with a magic ring.
1st rnd: 6 sc into the magic ring, place a marker in the first stitch to denote the start of the round. (6 sts)
2nd - 3rd rnds: sc all sts.
4th rnd: inc in every st of the rnd. (12 sts)
5th rnd: Repeat *1 sc, inc* 6 times. (18 sts)
6th - 9th rnds: sc all sts.
10th rnd: Repeat *2 sc, inc* 6 times. (24 sts)
11th - 14th rnds: sc all sts.
15th rnd: inc in every st of the rnd. (48 sts)
16th rnd: ss in every st of the rnd and to join rnd.
Clacker
Start with a magic ring.
1st rnd: 6 sc into the magic ring. (6 sts)
2nd rnd: inc in every st of the rnd. (12 sts)
3rd - 4th rnds: sc all sts.
Lightly stuff the clacker with toy stuffing.
5th rnd: dec every st of the rnd. (6 sts rem)
6th rnd: dec every st of the rnd. (3 sts rem)
Without cutting the yarn, ch10.
Fasten off your last stitch, leaving a yarn tail approx. 20cm long.
Finishing:
Sewing up
Thread the yarn tail from the Clacker onto needle. Pass the needle through the top center of the bell to attach the clacker and secure with a small knot. Weave in any yarn tails.
