You will need:
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Forest Green)
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Paper White)
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Red Apple)
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- A sewing needle
Abbreviations (US terminology)
ch - chain
dc - double crochet (UK terms: tr - treble crochet)
hdc – half double crochet (UK terms: htr - half treble crochet)
rnd(s) – round(s)
sc - single crochet (UK term: dc - double crochet)
ss - slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(es)
tr - treble crochet (UK terms: dtr - double treble crochet)

The Pattern
The mistletoe is made up of two stems that are folded in half, then tied together with a bow.
First Mistletoe
Using Forest Green, start with a foundation chain of 61 stitches.
1st rnd: 1 sc into the second chain from hook, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ss into the next 44 ch, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 3 sc into last st.
Turn your work 180 degrees clockwise, and complete your first round by working into the unworked loops of the opposite side of the foundation chain.
1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ss into the next 44 ch, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sc in last st, ss to join rnd. (120 sts)
Fasten off your last stitch. Leaving a yarn tail of approx. 15cm, cut yarn.
Second Mistletoe
Using Forest Green, start with a foundation chain of 81 stitches.
1st rnd: 1 sc into the second chain from hook, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ss into the next 64 ch, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 3 sc into last st.
Turn your work 180 degrees clockwise, and complete your first round by working into the unworked loops of the opposite side of the foundation chain.

Fasten off your last stitch. Leaving a yarn tail of approx. 15cm, cut yarn.
Ribbon
Using Red Apple, start with a foundation chain of 71 stitches.
1st row: 1 sc into the second chain from hook, sc in each chain to end. (70 sts)
Fasten off your last stitch. Leaving a yarn tail of approx. 15cm, cut yarn.
Berries (Make 6)
Using Paper White, start with a magic ring.
1st rnd: 6 sc into the magic ring, ss to join rnd.
Fasten off your last stitch. Leaving a yarn tail of approx. 15cm, cut yarn.
Finishing
Sewing up
- Attach berries by threading the yarn tail onto the needle and sew onto each of the leaves, placing them where you desire. Repeat until you have sewn down all the berries.
- Weave in any yarn tails.
- Lay both Mistletoe branches together and fold in half.
- Using Ribbon, tie a bow to secure the branches together.
