Day 3 brings a free crochet pattern for a wreath decoration.

You will need:
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Deep Orange)
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Forest Green)
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Paper White)
- 1 ball of The Cotton One (Red Apple)
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- A sewing needle
Abbreviations (US terminology)
blo - back loop only
ch - chain
sc - single crochet (UK term: dc - double crochet)
ss - slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(es)

The Pattern
The wreath is worked flat, with stripes, then finished by sewing narrow ends together.
Note: All ch1 in the pattern do NOT count as a stitch.
1st Stripe:
Using Forest Green, make a foundation chain of 49 stitches.
1st row: 1 sc in second ch from the hook and in each chain to end. (48 sts)
2nd Stripe:
Break off Forest Green, join in Paper White.
2nd row: ch1, 1 sc blo into every st to end.
3rd row: ch1, sc all sts.
3rd Stripe:
Break off Paper White, join in Forest Green.
4th row: ch1, 1 sc blo into every st to end.
5th row: ch1, sc all sts.
4th Stripe:
Break off Forest Green, join in Red Apple.
6th row: ch1, 1 sc blo into every st to end.
7th row: ch1, 1 sc into every st to end.
5th Stripe:
Break off Red Apple, join in Forest Green.
8th row: ch1, 1 sc blo into every st to end.
Fasten off your last stitch. Leaving approx. 25cm yarn tail, cut yarn.
Ribbon
Using Deep Orange, start with a foundation chain of 120 stitches.
Fasten off your last stitch. Leaving approx. 25cm yarn tail, cut yarn.
Finishing
Sewing up
- Thread yarn onto needle. Holding both narrow ends of the wreath, lightly stretch and twist the wreath several times to mix the colors.
- Bring both narrow ends together, ensuring the work is still twisted. Sew up the ends together using the needle. Weave in any yarn tails.
- To finish weave the ribbon in and out the wreath and secure with a bow.
