The blog has been a little quiet the last couple of weeks as we've been busy spreading the Christmas knitting cheer at the Spirit of Christmas and Country Living Christmas Fairs.
We haven't completely finished with our Sewing Up theme, and will return to it in later weeks, but in response to your requests we've decided to focus this week on turning, specifically in relation to our Easy Slumber Socks and creating the heel shape.
Step 1
Follow the pattern to cast on, knit the cuff and main section of sock.

The Easy Slumber Socks pattern uses the increase stitch method as part of creating the heel shape (k1fb).
Following the pattern turning and increasing your sock shape should start to look like this:
The Easy Slumber Socks pattern also uses the decrease stitch method as part of creating the heel shape (k2tog).
